Introduction
This is a list of movies that I think will movies to be released in 2023. I love all these movies and can’t wait for them to hit theaters!
Wonder Woman 3
Wonder Woman 3
The third installment of the Wonder Woman series, starring Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins, is coming to theaters in 2023. It’s set to follow Wonder Woman 2: Wonders Never Cease. The film will be directed by Patty Jenkins; Zack Snyder is also producing it.
Kung Fu Panda 4
For fans of the franchise, there’s no doubt that Kung Fu Panda 4 will be one of the most eagerly anticipated films next year. The movie will be released on January 28, 2024, and stars the voices of Jack Black as Po, Angelina Jolie as Tigress, and Jackie Chan as Tai Lung (Chan also voices Monkey in this installment).
The plot centers around Po as he goes on a journey to find his biological father in order to stop an ancient villain from destroying all of China. Reviews for the film have been generally positive with many calling it “funny”, “exciting” and “beautifully animated”.
It has grossed over $1 billion worldwide at the box office so far making it one of DreamWorks’ highest-grossing franchises ever!
Avatar 2
Avatar 2 is the sequel to James Cameron’s 2009 science fiction film Avatar. The film was announced in October 2017 with a planned release date of December 2021, but it has since been delayed to December 2020.
James Cameron will be returning as director, producer, and writer for the movie. He is working alongside Jon Landau for its production.
In February 2019, it was reported that Stephen Lang would reprise his role as Colonel Quaritch in both this and Avatar 3 (2020).

A Quiet Place 2
This highly anticipated horror thriller, directed by John Krasinski and starring Emily Blunt and Millicent Simmonds, is set to be released in May 2020. The movie was shot in the fall and winter of 2018, with it being the first feature film that Emily Blunt has directed since Mary Poppins Returns (2019). The budget for A Quiet Place 2 was $130 million dollars–a significant increase from its predecessor’s $20 million dollar budget. However, despite having a larger production budget than its predecessor, A Quiet Place 2 still managed to make over $330 million at the box office against its estimated earnings of $180 million.
Unbreakable 2

Do you know the movie Unbreakable? Well, it’s getting a sequel. The original is directed by M. Night Shyamalan, who also produced the sequel alongside Sam Raimi and Ashwin Rajan (the latter of whom produced Shyamalan’s Split). Bruce Willis returns to play David Dunn while Samuel L. Jackson reprises his part as Elijah Price/Mr. Glass. I can’t wait to see what kind of havoc they wreak together this time around!
Top Gun Maverick 2
- The first Top Gun movie was released way back in 1986.
- The sequel will be released in 2022.
- It stars Tom Cruise, who plays a pilot for the U.S. Navy’s first-class fighter squadrons known as the “Best Guns.”
- The movie is about a pilot and his relationship with an instructor (who happens to be his father’s best friend).
The first film was set during the Vietnam War but it looks like we’re going back to the present day for this one! We’re not sure what role Maverick’s sister played yet but we do know that she died when he was young… so maybe this will be about him grieving her loss? Either way, I can’t wait!!

The Fast and Furious franchise is one of the most successful movie series in the world. The eleventh installment, which was released in April 2020, was no exception to this rule. The movie starred Vin Diesel and Dwayne Johnson, with Michelle Rodriguez reprising her role as Letty Ortiz. It changed into a directed way Justin Lin also directed five other movies in the franchise: The Fast And The Furious (2001), Tokyo Drift (2006), Fast & Furious Six (2013), Furious Seven (2015), and The Fate Of The Furious (2017).
Fast And Furious 11 will be set in Tokyo, Japan. Where Dom Toretto has been living undercover for many years while avoiding being caught by Hobbs’s team or Cipher’s men. When he finds out that his friend Roman is being held captive by Cipher’s henchmen, he decides not only to break him out but also rescue his daughter Mia from Cipher’s clutches too without anyone knowing about it except for Han Seoul-Oh who has been apprised of this secret mission by Hobbs himself!
Cars 4
Cars 4 is a 3D computer-animated comedy film directed by John Lasseter and produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney Pictures. The fourth installment in the Cars series, it is scheduled to be released on July 11, 2023. The film stars Owen Wilson as Lightning McQueen and Michael Caine as Finn McMissile.
The film’s story follows Lightning McQueen trying to find his way home after being captured by a group of British spies who think he is an American spy.
Frozen 3
Frozen 3 will be a sequel to Frozen 2, the two movies to be released in 2023. The story is said to have new characters and a new theme, but it’s not clear what the plot of Frozen 3 will be. We do realize that they’re working on a soundtrack called “Let It Go Again”.

These movies all have amazing trailers, so I’m sure you’re excited to see them all. They are highly anticipated and expected to be huge box office hits, as well as critically acclaimed. These are the top 10 movies that you want like to see out in 2023:
- The Crocodile Hunter 3D is a reboot of a popular movie from the early 2000s, which will be released in March 2023. It’s about how Steve Irwin has to save his wife from an evil crocodile hunter named John Stainton who wants revenge on him for ruining his career by killing off one of his favorite animals (a tiger). This film will be directed by Adam Sandler and produced by Will Smith and Tom Cruise, among others!
- Godzilla Vs King Kong is A new movie from Legendary Pictures coming out in May 2023 as part of their MonsterVerse franchise. Which includes Godzilla: King Of The Monsters (2019), Kong: Skull Island (2017), Godzilla 2: King Of Monsters (2020) & Kong Vs Godzilla A New Beginning(2021). The plot involves both monsters fighting each other while trying not only to survive but also to save mankind at the same time!
